This is the list of must-reads for Children's Fiction, taken from 501 Must-Read Books.

You're sure to go oooh and aaah at the childhood favourites. I read a lot of condensed versions when I was a kid though, so after getting this list I went out and got the full versions and had a go. Fun!

not many and I took a children's literature course which covered some of these at least. I'm annoyed that none of Judy Blume's books made the list or Outsiders but maybe that's not children's more young adult.

I am trying to track down The Misfortunes of Sophie for my daughter who is tring to make her way through the childrens list from 501 best books.
Any ideas?
