Alexander McCall Smith's No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series is a fun read, with very fun covers. The cover of each book is a burst of colours and pattern so wild yet still in theme with each other. I have six of the set - the seventh is out but I'm waiting for this particular edition before I get it.
Here's the covers - so cheerful!

... afican motive ... :)
The story is set in Botswana, that's why the African theme. Actualy each cover features a bit of the story inside - for example the car on 'Tears of the Giraffe' and the lions on 'Morality for Beautiful Girls'.
I especially like the borders on the right of the books - so unique yet so uniform.
... just got me thinking this morning of - a book that leaves clues of an incident. I know this idea is not new but I guess it worth evolving around it ... cheers for the day ... :)
I agree. Great covers and great books.
